July 2004 Highway Reports

July 3, 2004 - 10:15pm - Unit #220 informed St Louis County Police of a vehicle that was racing with three others along Highway 141 and onto eastbound I-44. 220 wrote down the vehicle license plate and occupant descriptions and gave them to the police dispatcher.

July 17, 2004 - 12:10am - Unit #220 attempted to assist two stranded females in a vehicle on northbound I-270 north of I-64 in Town & Country, MO. When 220 arrived there was a passerby changing a flat tire for the two victims so 220 turned on his lights and protected the three people from getting hit by traffic. The two women thanked 220 for helping and the passerby left the scene when he finished.

July 21, 2004 - 10:15pm - Unit #220 attempted to assist a stranded motorist on I-44 west of Bowles Avenue. The driver had a flat tire but had help on the way. 220 stayed with the vehicle until help arrived.

July 21, 2004 - 11:00pm - Unit #220 attempted to assist two males that were standing outside their vehicle on the shoulder of I-270 north of I-44. 220 decided to contact Kirkwood Police because the vehicle was partially blocking the right lane. 220 left the scene after a Kirkwood Police officer arrived.
