January 12, 2004 - 6:45pm - While on his way home, unit #02 came across a stranded motorist blocking the right lane on westbound Highway 30 over the Meremac River bridge. 02 turned on all of his lights, stopped behind the motorist, and waited for help to arrive. While waiting, 02 heard Sunset Hills and Fenton Police passing the call back and forth because they were not sure who's jurisdiction it was. Before the police arrived a MODOT dump truck pulled up behind unit 02 with a arrow stick so 02 left the scene.

January 13, 2004 - 10:00pm - While getting out of class at St. Louis Community College, unit #02 saw a minor accident happened in the lot. Since the classes were letting out and the lot was becoming busy, 02 turned on his lights and directed traffic around the cars until campus police arrived.

January 14, 2004 - 8:45pm - Unit #220 attempted to assist two stranded motorists on the ramp from I-270 southbound onto eastbound Olive Street Rd. Somehow, the front wheel came completely off the vehicle while they were waiting for the light to change, and the motorist was attempting to change the tire when 220 arrived. 220 stated that the car needed to be towed because the bolts were sheared off the wheel, exposing the brakes. 220 drove to the Creve Coeur Police Department and let them know of the incident, which was not blocking traffic.

January 14, 2004 - 10:30pm - Unit #220 assisted a stranded motorist on I-55 northbound near the Hwy 141 exit. The motorist ran out of fuel on the way up the hill just as 220 arrived. Unit 220 offered to get the man some fuel and returned within 20 minutes. The man thanked 220 for his assistance and gave him a business card from Computers To Go where the motorist worked.

January 14, 2004 - 11:00pm - Unit #220 stopped to assist a stranded motorist on I-55 southbound at Mattis Rd. The driver ran out of fuel and asked 220 if he would stay behind him until his help arrived. Unit 220 obliged the driver and waited for about 10 minutes. A Missouri State Highway Patrol officer arrived and asked 220 some routine questions about the incident and so 220 stated what he knew. The State Trooper did not see that there was another vehicle in front of the victims' huge truck and was curious to know how 220 got involved. After a few more minutes, the scene was cleared.

January 15, 2004 - 12:00pm - Unit #02 was leaving St. Louis Community College when saw an accident happen on Big Bend Rd at Geyer Rd. One of the drivers hit her head on the windshield, broke the glass, and was bleeding. 02 turned his lights on and offered medical attention, but the women refused. 02 waited for police to arrive, advised the officer of the situation, and left the scene.

January 31, 2004 - 11:00pm - Unit #220 checked on two vehicles on the shoulder of I-55 just south of Meramec Bottom Rd. The vehicle closest to Meramec Bottom had a flat tire on the passenger side and the vehicle behind it belonged to some friends that stopped to help. Unit 220 stayed on the scene until things were settled and then moved on.
