March 20, 2001 - 8:55pm - Unit #220 assisted a motorist with a flat tire on southbound I-270 just south of I-44. Since the shoulder was narrow, 220 remained behind the motorist with his lights on and provided a light source while the driver changed the tire.

March 20, 2001 - 10:00pm - Unit #65 and #220 assisted a motorist on the shoulder of westbound I-44 just west of Highway 141. The tow truck the motorist had called arrived about 30 seconds after 65 and 220 stopped so they remained behind the motorist until the tow truck driver finished hooking up the car.

March 23, 2001 - 4:35pm - Unit #73 was driving northbound on Highway 141 approaching Highway 30 when he came upon a truck that took a turn too fast and lost the load on his trailer (a bulldozer). 73 called the police and closed the two right lanes of Highway 141. 73 called unit #65 to the scene to assist with traffic control. They remained at the scene for over an hour until officials put the bulldozer back on the trailer and cleaned up the gas spill.

March 25, 2001 - 9:00pm - Unit #220 and unit #65 assisted a St. Louis County Police Officer on a traffic stop on westbound I-44 at Highway 141. The shoulder was narrow where he pulled the truck over so the officer was forced to stand in the traffic lane to talk to the driver. 220 and 65 waved traffic out of the lane for the officer.

March 26, 2001 - 9:30pm - Unit #220 and unit #65 checked on a vehicle on the shoulder of westbound I-44 one mile east of Antire Rd. The vehicle had a flat tire and had safety triangles set up behind it but it was unoccupied. 220 and 65 checked the highway to see if the driver was walking for help but they were unable to locate anyone.

March 30, 2001 - 9:10pm - Unit #65 assisted a motorist on the shoulder of westbound I-44 two miles west of Highway 141. The motorist had a dead battery but he came prepared with his own jumper pack to charge the battery. 65 remained behind him until he got his truck (pulling a car on a trailer) going again.
