5, 2000 - 2:00pm - Unit #220 witnessed and arrived on the scene
of a two vehicle accident on eastbound Watson Rd at the I-270 off-ramp.
He provided traffic assistance around the vehicles involved and
helped to block the intersection of Geyer and Watson road so the
Sunset Hills Police could respond quickly and without incident.
One woman was taken to the hospital with whiplash and minor back
pain.
June 6, 2000 - 9:15pm - Unit #65 assisted
a stranded motorist with an overheated engine on northbound I-270
just north of I-44. 65 gave the motorist his two gallon jug of water
to fill the radiator and he was on his way again.
June 10, 2000 - Unit #220 assisted a motorist
with a stalled vehicle on I-64 just east of Mason Road. 220 stayed
behind the vehicle with his lights on until the drivers' husband
arrived.
June 11, 2000 - 9:30pm - Unit #65 assisted
a stranded motorist with a flat tire on northbound I-55 just south
of I-255. 65 let the motorist use his hydraulic jack and provided
traffic control while they changed the tire.

June 16, 2000 - 9:35pm - Unit #65 assisted
some stranded motorists on the shoulder of southbound I-270 just
south of I-44. No one was able to come and pick them up and since
it was raining heavily, 65 conveyed the motorists to their house
near I-55 and Butler Hill Road.

June 17, 2000 - 9:15pm - Unit #65 assisted
a stranded motorist blocking the left lane on the ramp from southbound
I-55 onto Lindbergh. 65 stayed behind the vehicle with his lights
on and put out cones and flares until a St. Louis County Police
car arrived on the scene.

June 17, 2000 - Unit #220 assisted a family
on their way to Colorado that stopped to repair faulty tail lights
that went out on the families' trailer at Hwy 40 and the Boone's
Crossing on-ramp.
June 18, 2000 - Unit #220 assisted a Franklin
County Sheriff's Deputy by providing traffic control along westbound
I-44 near the 248 mile marker. A vehicle fire prompted the closing
of the right lane and traffic was slowed and routed into the left
lane. It took roughly an hour to clear the scene.
June 18, 2000 - Unit #220 assisted a family
from Cuba Missouri that had a flat tire on westbound I-44 at the
220 mile marker. 220 provided a hydaulic jack and 4-way tire iron,
so that the motorist could change the tire and be on his way home
again.
June 19, 2000 - Unit #220 assisted a motorist
out of gas and blocking one lane on Lindbergh Blvd. under I-44.
220 directed traffic around the vehicle until the motorist could
get gas and be on his way.
June 19, 2000 - Unit #220 assisted a motorist
with a broken drive shaft on top of the on-ramp to Hanley Road from
Hwy 40. 220 directed traffic around the vehicle until the tow truck
arrived. Richmond Heights Police also arrived on the scene to assist.
June 26, 2000 - Unit #220 assisted Webster
Groves Police with a minor accident at I-44 and the Laclede Station
Road off-ramp. Two vehicles were involved and nobody was hurt.
June 30, 2000 - 9:30pm - Unit #65 assisted
a stranded motorist on the shoulder of southbound I-55 just south
of the Meramec River. He was repairing a radiator hose so 65 stayed
behind him with his lights on until he fixed it.

June 30, 2000 - 10:00pm - Unit #65 assisted
a stranded motorist on a motorcycle on northbound I-270 one mile
south of I-44. The motorcyclist had a flat tire so 65 stayed behind
him with his lights on until his friends arrived in a truck to haul
it away.
