August 2000 Highway Reports

August 1, 2000 - 9:30pm - Unit #65 assisted a motorist on the shoulder of eastbound Highway 30 just west of I-270. 65 stayed behind the motorist with his lights on until his friend arrived to pick him up.

August 5, 2000 - 9:00pm - Unit #65 assisted a motorist on the shoulder of eastbound I-44 just west of Antire Road. The motorist and his friend were loading their car onto a trailer so 65 stayed behind them with his lights on until they were finshed.

August 5, 2000 - 9:20pm - Unit #65 assisted a stranded motorist, an off duty St. Louis City Police Detective, on the shoulder of northbound I-270 just south of Highway 21. 65 stayed behind the detective's vehicle with his lights on until the tow truck arrived.

August 14, 2000 - 4:40pm - Unit #65 pulled up behind a minor vehicle accident on Fenpark at Rudder Road. 65 stayed behind the motorists with his lights on until they finished exchanging information.

August 18, 2000 - Unit #220 assisted motorists involved in a two vehicle accident on the on-ramp at Grand Blvd. and I-44. Neither person was injured. St. Louis City Police arrived on the scene within a half hour.

August 20, 2000 - Unit #220 helped a motorist from Evansville, Indiana change a flat tire on I-64 underneath the McKnight Road overpass.

August 20, 2000 - Unit #220 assisted a St. Louis County Police officer by removing some debris in the roadway at I-170 and Eager Road in Richmond Heights.

August 21, 2000 - 10:46am - Unit #220 assisted Clayton Police with traffic control at a two vehicle accident near Forsyth & Hanley Roads.

August 21, 2000 - 11:151am - Unit #220 assisted Clayton Police with traffic control at a two vehicle accident at Bonhomme & Hanley Roads.
