| April 7, 2000 - 9:35pm - Unit #65, unit
#73, and unit #220 assisted a stranded motorist, a Missouri State
Senator, with a flat tire on westbound I-44 at Bowles Ave. 65, 73,
and 220 stayed behind the Senator's vehicle with their lights on
until the tow truck the Senator called arrived and changed the tire.
April 8, 2000 - 5:30pm - Unit #65 assisted
a stranded motorist blocking the southbound lane of Old South Highway
141 one half mile south of Allen Road. 65 stopped behind the vehicle
with his lights on and helped move the vehicle off the road.
April 10, 2000 - 1:35pm - Unit #220 was
waiting for the light to turn green at the corner of Hanley Road
and Dale in Richmond Heights when when he noticed smoke coming from
a bus stop shelter. He tried to put out a small trash fire inside
the bus stop by emptying out his fire extinguisher. It quickly re-ignited
and he had to call 911 from a pay phone to notify the fire department.
The bus stop shelter was destroyed and eventually torn down within
the hour.
April 16, 2000 - 12:00pm - Unit #220 pulled
up behind a vehicle accident on westbound I-70 at exit 144. 220
stayed behind the vehicles with his lights on and directed traffic
around it.
April 21, 2000 - 8:50pm - Unit #65 assisted
a stranded motorist on westbound I-44 just east of Highway 141.
65 stayed behind the vehicle with his lights on until the driver
fixed his engine.
April 22, 2000 - 10:35pm - Unit #220 assisted
a stranded motorist with a flat tire at Highway 40 and McCausland.
220 stayed behind the vehicle with his lights on until the tow truck
arrived.
April 23, 2000 - 2:45pm - Unit #220 pulled
up behind a vehicle accident on the southbound I-270 ramp onto westbound
I-44. 220 stayed behind the vehicles with his lights on and directed
traffic around it.
April 23, 2000 - 3:10pm - Unit #220 removed
some debris in the road at the intersection of Bowles Ave. and North
Highway Drive.
April 27, 2000 - 9:20pm - Unit #65 assisted
a stranded motorist on southbound I-270 just south of I-44. 65 stayed
behind the vehicle with his lights on until the tow truck arrived
and removed the vehicle.

April 29, 2000 - 8:50pm - Unit #65 assisted
a stranded motorist on southbound I-270 just north of Highway 30.
65 stayed behind the vehicle with his lights on until the motorist
fixed his engine and was on his way.

April 29, 2000 - 11:05pm - Unit #220 assisted
a stranded motorist on southbound I-270 just south of Highway 30.
The motorist's engine broke down so 220 stayed behind the vehicle
with his lights on until the motorist's friend arrived to pick her
up.
April 30, 2000 - 1:35am - Unit #220 assisted
a stranded motorist on northbound I-270 just south of Page. 220
stayed behind the vehicle with his lights on until it was removed.
April 30, 2000 - 8:40pm - Unit #65 assisted
a stranded motorist with a flat tire on eastbound I-44 one mile
east of Bowles Ave. 65 stayed behind the vehicle with his lights
on and let the motorist use his hydraulic jack to change the tire.
